“Laws control the lesser man… Right conduct controls the greater one. “

What I succeeded in doing here was transcribing ancient law on to the back of my model, Melannie Montenegro.  I kept the concept around the idea of how ancient laws/traditionsstill have an effect on society today…because they do.  Today’s laws and philosophy definitely come from somewhere.

Mel was perfect in this shoot.  She was very still when I was going through the process of painting her back (which took a little over an hour), and even gave me some tips and advice on how to use the paint better.  Than she was just great throughout the entire photographing process – the attitude, the posing and everything.  She even threw out some of her own ideas which I was more than happy to use.  A great experience!
